Dadas loan money to specifically dance and drama students that are citizens of the EU and you must also have one of the following qualifications:

(Classical Ballet or Contemporary Dance) (2 years)
•Level 6 Diploma in Professional Dance (3

Theatre (3 years)
You also must be between the ages of
16-23 for dance courses, and 18-23 for acting. The amount of the loan depends on your family income , which is the same way a university loan works . However they can add additional finical support on top of that .
Lawrence atwells charity
The Lawrence atwells charity also offers grants to young people and they specialise in vocational courses. It is a major not-for-profit organisation involved in running schools, sheltered housing and grant programmes for individuals, educational institutions, and a wide range of small organisations throughout the UK.
These organisations work together to maintain and develop the professional standards in all entertainment industry's .

National Drama, the UK’s leading professional association for drama teachers and theatre educators. They are dedicated to providing all children and young people to have the opportunity to learn about and participate in drama. They are passionate about the development, promotion and support of Drama and Theatre both in the UK and world wide. You can become a member at National Drama all you have to have is a keen enthusiasm towards performing arts.National Drama arranges high quality Drama and Theatre Conferences and Events and Publications to support and promote Drama practice which include drama teachers and any type of teacher !

Spotlight was founded in 1927 and is the UK's leading casting organisation on knowledge and contacts at the heart of the industry.
Over 60,000 performers appear in Spotlight which include actors and actresses, child artists, presenters, dancers and stunt artists. They offer the chance to market yourself as a performer for professional film, television, stage and commercial work.
Thousands of production companies, broadcasters, ad agencies and independent casting directors use Spotlight as their number one casting resource. They're clients range from the BBC, ITV and Channel 4, and to small production companies and individual casting directors.
They also have contacts for over 5000 companies, services and individuals across all ranges of television, stage, film and radio.
Also Equity works with Amnesty as well they have an 'Equity's International Committee' for Artists' Freedom which campaigns to raise awareness and freedom on behalf of artists suffering persecution or other difficulties in countries outside the UK.This links in well with my sponsor for my production 'Some one who'll watch over me'. For example Equity and Amnesty worked together on a 'postcard' campaign which raises awareness of the two stand up comics imprisoned in Burma, because of the nature of their material which anger authorities .

Equity is a campaigning and organising who care and take interest in artists working in the entertainment industry, to parliament and other areas of creative influence. Equity helps creative artists on issues such as funding, agency regulation, National Insurance status of artists, entertainment licensing, venue closures, BBC licence fee, tax structure for film-makers, credits on television, intellectual property rights and a lot of other subjects that affect aspiring creative artists and in the industry as a whole. They want to keep the industry rich with an on going influx of creative people to keep the industry alive and running.This company invest in an opportunity in exchange for equity.The money is then exchanged for a shares, or a small stake in the productions success. If the production is successful the value goes up. If not, the value goes down.

Spotlight is an actor specific company which directors/casting directors go to , to find actors that fit their specific needs . For example if a production need 50 + under 16's to be in their production they would go to Spotlight who would search all their clientèle to get every contact they have under that specific need.
Actors from Spotlight who may feel mistreated would go to a company like Equity who stick up for actors who may be mistreated , physically , mentally , verbally , racially ect. Equity would offer legal advice on how to deal with the issues and the company the actor is working for .
For example if I was running my own small scale theatre and an actor felt that they where being mistreated by a member in the production Equity may get involved legally advsing them and may hold a meeting with myself to disucss teh issues and find a way to resolve it. Equity stand up for actors rights in all of the Performing arts industry.
