Evaluation Jamie Cullum everything you didn't do

On the 22nd of May (the last day of term) my class and the other musical theatre class performed our onsumble of Jaime Cullums 'Everthing you didn't do' in the Sealight Theatre . I think overall we sounded really powerful and passionate . To warm up for the song we practised an octave scale starting at different notes each time getting higher and higher and also practising low notes. This song is particularly challenging with in articulation . For example in the last verse the line  'everything you didn't do ' is repeated 4 times in a higher key . I was singing in a harmonie with the people designated to the harmonie where as others had to sing the melody (lower key) . This was very challenging as I would have to use my head voice it was very high in comparison to the rest of the song. Also I found breath control very challenging in this song as most of it was in a sacarto style , unlike the last verse which was done in lagarto  ' I don't know what say about every little thing , cos I'm tired and I want to go to sleep' . There was a lot of jumping so I'd also say we had to use our flexibility within this song aswell. However I think my projection was good and strong and gave a good contribution to the onsomble . My targets for next time would be to work on the articulation in the song as sometimes I felt my voice going very squeaky with how high I had to change to . And also my volume could of been louder but was effected because of the high notes in the song that I struggled with .
